Job summary

UNICEF Office of Strategy and Evidence (OSE) in Florence is seeking a Communications Consultant to support digital engagement and protection research. The consultant will help design and implement communications strategies and materials for the DEP Unit, with remote work and required travel.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 4–7 years in communications, social media, and media production, plus branding knowledge and the ability to translate complex findings for diverse audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field.
• 4–7 years in communication, social media management, media, or digital platforms.
• Experience with digital technology terminology and child rights.
• Ability to translate complex research findings into diverse communications outputs.
• Experience developing outputs at national and international levels.
• Graphic design experience and understanding UNICEF branding guidelines.
• Multicultural work experience; UN experience is a plus.
• Editing scripts, radio/video production, or filmmaking is an asset.
