SearchApi in Italy seeks a browser engineer to patch Chromium and Firefox at the C++ source level, own our patched‑browser cloud, and own the fingerprint surface that keeps our automation indistinguishable from a real user.

You’ll fix engine-level evasion, maintain patches across releases, build testing harnesses, and contribute to a remote‑first, bootstrapped product that serves Fortune 500 customers with real data at scale.

Competenze

• Strong C++ skills and ability to read/modify a large codebase.
• Experience with browser internals and fingerprinting.
• Reverse engineering mindset and debugging abilities.

Mansioni

• Own the browser stack and per‑OS fingerprint profiles; keep patches rebased.
• Patch the engine to make spoofed values look native.
• Eliminate CDP leaks without breaking normal control.
• Align geolocation, timezone, and locale for consistency.
• Diagnose and fix detection signals at the source.
• Build tooling and test harnesses to validate evasions.
