ABL Recruitment partners with a major international bank to appoint a Relationship Manager for its Corporate & Institutional Banking team in Milan. The role focuses on managing and expanding relationships with large corporate clients and financial institutions in a dynamic, cross-border environment.

You will lead credit analyses, KYC reviews and the preparation of credit applications, while coordinating transaction execution.

Competenze

• Degree in Economics, Business Administration or related discipline.
• 8+ years' experience in Corporate Banking or Financial Institutions.
• Fluent in Italian and English; Chinese language skills would be an advantage but are not essential.

An international banking institution is looking to appoint an experienced Relationship Manager to join its Corporate & Institutional Banking team in Milan.

Job Title: Relationship Manager – Corporate & Institutional Banking

Work Style: Office-based

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage relationships with large corporate clients and financial institutions.
• Identify and originate new business opportunities while expanding the existing client portfolio.
• Execute marketing and business development activities.
• Conduct client due diligence, KYC reviews and credit analysis.
• Prepare credit applications and present recommendations to the Credit Committee.
• Coordinate transaction execution and manage post-loan activities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, banks and other counterparties.

Requirements

• Degree in Economics, Business Administration or a related discipline (master’s degree is an advantage).
• 8+ years' experience in Corporate Banking, Commercial Banking or Financial Institutions.
• Experience managing large corporate relationships; syndicated lending experience would be an advantage.
• Strong understanding of banking products, lending and financial markets.
• Proven credit analysis and financial analysis skills.
• Fluent in Italian and English (written and spoken). Chinese language skills would be an advantage but are not essential.
• Strong communication and relationship management skills with the ability to work in an international environment.
