Job summary

RINA is seeking a Railway RAMS Engineer to join our Electronics and System Engineering Division in Genoa, Rome and Naples. You will contribute to reliability, availability, maintainability, and safety of transportation systems.

You will support RAMS processes, analyze data, and collaborate with project teams, suppliers, and authorities to develop safety plans, hazard logs and RAMS deliverables throughout project life cycles.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Familiarity with RAMS concepts and safety standards.
• Experience with railway safety regulations (ERA, ANSFISA) is a plus.
• Ability to apply RAMS methodologies to complex systems.

Responsibilities

• Support RAMS process management across project phases and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Perform risk analyses using RAMS methods to identify hazards and safety risks.
• Develop and review RAMS deliverables such as safety plans and hazard logs.
• Collaborate with project teams, suppliers, operators and authorities.
• Assist in testing, commissioning and verification of safety requirements.
