Sécheron Hasler Italia is seeking a Functional Test Engineer to join the Integration Verification & Testing Department. You will write test cases, perform functional testing on electronic devices for railway applications, and work closely with IVT and Product Integrity managers.

Responsibilities include developing test strategies, defining test specs, scripting automated tests where applicable, and coordinating test benches.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, electronics, telecommunications or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in the industrial sector.
• Knowledge of LabVIEW, Python, and MS Visual Studio.
• English proficiency (B1 level preferred).

Mansioni

• Analyze system functional requirements and software functional requirements.
• Develop test strategies for distributed systems, devices, and electronic boards.
• Define test specifications and possibly use automated tools.
• Develop scripts for automated test execution.
• Define test bench and coordinate its implementation.
• Create test documentation (test plan, test procedures, reports).
• Execute tests and draft reports using integrated management systems (e.g., Polarion).
• Track test cases against requirements.
• Identify and classify bugs; report in issue trackers (Redmine, Bugzilla).
• Report on test progress.
