Hitachi Rail in Genoa, Italy, seeks a Traffic Management & Control Functional Design Engineer. The role involves producing functional design documentation, ensuring standards compliance, and supporting verification and testing within a dynamic project environment.

The candidate should have a technical degree and 3–5 years in railway/automation, with knowledge of signaling systems and design techniques. This on-site position offers growth and training opportunities.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent.
• 3–5 years in railway and/or automation environments.
• Knowledge of railway/metro automation and signaling systems.
• Familiarity with design techniques and standards (CENELEC).

Mansioni

• Produce the assigned portion of functional design documentation and project activities (logic and configuration).
• Ensure reference to industry standards in deliverables (e.g., CENELEC, IPC).
• Contribute to verification activities per the V&V plan and company guidelines.
• Contribute to gap analysis between customer requirements and company products.
• Develop functional design documentation including system requirements and architecture.
• Support requirements traceability, verification, and testing sessions.
