CargoBeamer is seeking a dedicated Terminal Support Specialist to oversee and facilitate efficient terminal operations at our Domodossola location. You will check equipment, log details, assist with loading, and help keep the yard safe and organized.

The role requires forklift experience, a PDT A Shunting Driver certificate, and fluency in English and Italian. You will work hands-on with rail equipment and coordinate with teams to ensure smooth, compliant logistics.

Formación

• Completion of technical training and several years of relevant experience.
• Basic knowledge of business administration.
• PDT - A Shunting Driver certificate.
• Solid understanding of rail shunting dynamics.
• Familiarity with railway equipment and its maintenance procedures.
• Forklift driver's licence and proficiency.
• Experience in rail traffic management preferred.
• Strong health and safety focus.
• Hands-on and adaptable to operational demands.
• Proficient in English and Italian.

Responsabilidades

• Check trailers, containers and swap bodies in and out.
• Check and log vehicle and load details on a tablet/scanner.
• Help the team load and unload transport units and trains.
• Shunt and move trailers/containers/swap bodies around the terminal yard.
• Operate handling kit (e.g. forklift) and assist with terminal tasks as licensed.
• Help keep the terminal safe, clean and tidy.
