CargoBeamer Group is seeking a dedicated Terminal Support Specialist (m/f/d) to oversee terminal operations in Domodossola. Your role includes checking trailers, logging details, assisting with loading/unloading, and shunting activities to maintain efficient, safe terminal performance.

Ideal candidates have technical training, several years of experience, and a PDT shunting certificate. English and Italian language proficiency are required for effective collaboration across teams.

Competenze

• Completion of technical training and several years of relevant professional experience.
• Basic knowledge of business administration.
• PDT - A Shunting Driver certificate.
• Solid understanding of rail shunting dynamics in and around railway junctions.
• Familiarity with railway equipment and routine maintenance.
• Forklift licence and proficiency in forklift handling.
• Preferred: experience in rail traffic management or rail/transport operations.
• Strong focus on health and safety in terminal operations.
• Hands-on approach with flexibility to operational demands.
• Proficiency in English and Italian.

Mansioni

• Check trailers, containers and swap bodies in and out.
• Check and log vehicle and load details on tablet/scanner.
• Help the team load and unload transport units and trains.
• Shunt and move trailers/containers/swap bodies around the terminal yard.
• Operate handling kit (e.g. forklift/reach stacker) depending on licence/experience.
• Help keep the terminal safe, clean and tidy.
