Abylsen in Italy is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to join the team working on safety-critical railway software. The ideal candidate has strong embedded C experience, real-time systems knowledge, and familiarity with railway standards.

The role involves defining requirements, designing components, and performing validations across MIL/SIL/HIL environments. Two days of smartworking per week and a permanent contract are offered, with a salary range of 30,000–45,000 EUR gross per year.

Competenze

• For this role, a relevant degree and at least 3 years of embedded C development experience are required.
• Experience with safety-critical software development is essential, preferably SIL2 or equivalent.
• Familiarity with the V-Model, version control, and railway standards EN 50128/50657/50129 is a plus.

Mansioni

• Define, analyze, and manage software requirements.
• Design and develop software components according to architecture.
• Develop, maintain, integrate, and debug embedded software in C.
• Perform static analysis and resolve issues.
• Write software specifications, test cases, and documentation.
• Support unit testing and software integration activities.
• Perform verification/validation in MIL, SIL, and HIL environments.
• Analyze logs and data acquisitions for debugging.
