An international engineering consulting group is seeking an Electrical Designer in the Railway sector. The role involves designing electrical schematics, managing cable harnesses, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Ideal candidates have a Master's degree in a relevant engineering field, at least 2 years of experience in the railway sector, and must be fluent in both Italian and English. As part of the development of Abylsen Italy, specialized in IT, Transport (automotive, aeronautics, defense, space and rail), Heavy Industry (metallurgy, steel plant) and Energy, we are looking for a Electrical designer in the Railway sector to integrate our team of consultants and bring your expertise on all our projects.

What is the challenge?

ACTIVITY

• Design and develop electrical schematics for railway vehicles using Zuken E3 series, including wiring diagrams, connectors, and terminal blocks.
• Create and manage cable harnesses and electrical panels, ensuring compliance with railway standards and space constraints.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, software, production) to integrate electrical systems into the overall vehicle design.
• Generate technical documentation

REQUIREMENTS

• Master's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Automation Engineering or equivalent technical background
• At least 2 years of experience in the railway sector
• The knowledge of Zuken E3.series and DOORS is mandatory
• Fluent in Italian and English.
