ABYLSEN, the engineering consultancy within the HOUSE OF ABY Group, seeks a Mechanical System Engineer for its Rail Engineering Unit in Poreta, Umbria. You will drive the development and integration of gangway and inter-vehicle subsystems, manage interfaces and ensure compliance with railway standards.

You will contribute to architecture, verification plans, and participate in design reviews, collaborating with cross-functional teams across requirements, mechanical design, RAMS and

Competenze

• Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• Experience applying systems engineering to mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of requirements management and interface definition.
• Familiarity with V&V and mechanical integration.
• Good communication skills and technical English.

Mansioni

• Define, manage and verify mechanical subsystem requirements per railway standards.
• Support integration of subsystems into railway vehicles and interfaces.
• Contribute to subsystem architecture, configuration and operating modes.
• Coordinate Verification & Validation activities including testing.
• Act as technical reference with customers, suppliers and project teams.
