Job summary

Hitachi Rail Limited is seeking a Senior Project/Program Manager for IoT-enabled rail digitalization initiatives in a global, multi-stakeholder environment. You will lead end-to-end delivery across asset management, maintenance optimization, and intelligent railway systems.

The role requires 10+ years in railway project management, strong leadership, and expertise in cloud, data, AI, and IoT; you will coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure governance, budget, and schedule adherence.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in project and program management within the railway industry.
Strong focus on digital transformation, operational excellence, and technology-enabled business change.
Experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder rail projects.
Ability to communicate effectively with customers and senior stakeholders and manage governance.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end delivery of rail digitalization initiatives across asset management, maintenance optimization, and IoT.
Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across consulting, engineering, software, systems integration, testing, and operations.
Serve as primary customer-facing interface for governance, reporting, and steering committees.
Manage project planning, budgeting, forecasting, risk and change control throughout the lifecycle.
Ensure compliance with railway standards, cybersecurity, and organizational delivery processes.
Support commercial activities including proposals and SOWs.
