The candidate should have experience in rail maintenance, an Italian grounding, and basic English. ANSF certifications are a plus as we promote safe and efficient operations.

Competenze

• High school diploma or technical background in mechanical, electrical or electronic fields.
• Experience in maintenance activities within rail/railway environments is preferred.
• ANSF (National Railway Safety Agency) certifications are advantageous.

Job Description

Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self‑motivated TEAM LEADER who thrives in a fast‑paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Florence – IT.

Accountabilities

Coordination of service/retrofit activities related to rail vehicle maintenance, resources in the execution of Maintenance activities, with a view to continuous cost/time/quality improvement. Managing the documentation related to ongoing maintenance, the correct flow of use of specific tools and equipment for the performance of Service activities. Ensure the safety of maintenance locations by promoting compliance with current procedures, taking care to report any "non-conformities" to their supervisors. Support the enhancement of skills and teamwork by leading the resources on their shift (7/7 h24).

Required Skills / Knowledge

Experience in performing and managing maintenance activities, preferably gained in the railroad industry. ANSF certifications - National Railway Safety Agency (COCS 30) - to work on train safety organs (preferred).

Education / Qualifications

High school diploma, preferably Technical Expert (Mechanical, Computer, Electronic).

Languages

Proficiency in Italian is mandatory. Basic knowledge of English (written and spoken).
