Job summary

Bolton Food is seeking an R&D Manager for its Cermenate plant. You will drive product innovation, lead cross-functional development teams, and oversee projects from concept to industrialization, ensuring technical feasibility and quality.

The role reports to the Global R&D Director Food and requires strong leadership and regulatory knowledge. Ideal candidates have 5–10 years in food R&D, a degree in a related field, and fluency in Italian and English.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of relevant experience in R&D and product development within the food industry.
• Strong expertise in food product development and R&D processes.
• Solid understanding of food technologies, product quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Fluent in Italian and English.

Responsibilities

• Lead product innovation and development projects from concept to industrialization.
• Identify and assess new technologies, ingredients and product solutions.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Quality, Operations to translate briefs into feasible solutions.
• Coordinate product development activities from concept to industrialization, ensuring feasibility, quality and compliance.
