Pirelli is seeking a skilled modeller to advance virtual tyre design within the Modelling team, focusing on Tools Development. You will work with Python-based automation and CAE methods, collaborating with Pirelli's global technical centers to harmonize simulation tools and methodologies.

You will develop modelling tools, support users, fix bugs, generate documentation, and collaborate with testing, materials, and processes teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.

Competenze

• Master’s degree in Mathematical / Mechanical / Aeronautical Engineering requested, with strong academic background.
• 2+ years of experience in a relevant modelling/CAE role or similar.
• Experience with Python for automation and numerical tooling; knowledge of Abaqus is a plus.

Mansioni

• Develop SW tools for automation and industrialization of simulations.
• Support users facing issues in simulations, bugs, HPC behavior, and convergence.
• Gather user feedback to guide tool improvements and features.
• Fix code bugs and maintain tools; produce release notes and user guides.
• Collaborate with testing, materials and processes teams to integrate tools.
