NUM AG invites you to an internship in their R&D Sw team at the Cuggiono (MI) office. You will work on three main projects: dynamic anti-collision algorithms, smoothing of CNC toolpaths, and AI-based CNC tuning, with practical prototyping in MATLAB/Python and firmware integration under senior guidance.

Competenze

• University-level studies in Engineering, Math or Physics.
• Strong mathematical and geometrical background required.
• Knowledge of English and ability to collaborate in an international team.
• Familiarity with programming in C/C++ is a plus.

Mansioni

• Study and develop a dynamic anti-collision algorithm for CNC machines and robotic arms.
• Develop smoothing path algorithms for offline CNC toolpaths.
• Explore AI-based tuning of CNC axis PID controllers and integrate prototypes.
