Dr. Schär is seeking a team member for the Global R&I Pilot Plant – Application Research in Trieste, Italy.

The role is full-time and on-site, with responsibilities to support product development and coordinate the pilot plant with hands-on testing and documentation. The candidate should have baker experience (3+ years) or a technical diploma in electrical engineering/mechatronics (3+ years), with a strong interest in the food industry and pilot plant testing, plus excellent organization and

• Experience as a baker, preferably in pilot plants or industrial bakery environments.
• Technical diploma in electrical engineering, electrotechnics, or mechatronics with 3+ years of experience.
• Interest in the food industry and pilot plant testing activities; accuracy and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Support product development, research and innovation through experimental trials.
• Plan and coordinate the use of the pilot plant.
• Manage maintenance and oversee machinery and equipment.
• Manage materials, ingredients and warehouse stocks.
• Prepare documentation and reports.
