Hitachi, Ltd. in Monselice (Italy) is offering an internship for an electrical engineering graduate or student to join the R&D team in the Transformer Business Unit. The internship is expected to last 6 months and may lead to a thesis.

You will support power transformer design and tools improvements, work with emerging technologies, and collaborate in a dynamic R&D environment. English proficiency is required.

Competenze

• Degree in electrical engineering (or recognized equivalent).
• Knowledge of power transformer technology is a plus.
• Knowledge of electrical finite element simulation is a plus.
• Programming experience is a plus.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.

You will contribute and support the team to achieve successful results in Research & Development projects development for our Transformer Business Unit in Monselice (PD).

We are seeking a student or a graduate in the field of electrical engineering (or recognized equivalent) to join our R&D team for an internship. The internship, with expected duration of 6 months, can also have the purpose of developing a thesis.

How you'll make an impact

Support various R&D projects for power transformers design and design review tools improvements and/or for new emerging technologies and solutions.

Your background

• Degree in electrical engineering (or recognized equivalent).
• Power transformer technology knowledge will be considered a plus.
• Knowledge of electrical finite element simulation is a plus
• Programming experience is considered a plus
• Solid computer skills including Microsoft Office & Outlook. Programming experience is considered a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving analytical skills, creativity, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic R&D environment
• Good spoken and written English.

The minimum salary for this position in the location specified is as follows:

• Starting from: 800€ gross monthly

The final offer will be based on candidate qualifications and aligned with internal pay structures.
