HITACHI ENERGY ITALY S.P.A. in Monselice (PD) is offering a 6-month internship for a graduate or student in electrical engineering to join the R&D team. The role focuses on supporting transformer design projects and developing review tools. Good English skills are required and knowledge of transformer technology is a plus.

The internship may lead to a thesis, and the compensation starts at 800€ gross monthly, with potential for alignment based on qualifications and internal pay structures.

The opportunity Our R&D engineers and scientists develop breakthrough technologies that change the way the world works, and industries do business. You will contribute and support the team to achieve successful results in Research & Development projects development for our Transformer Business Unit in Monselice (PD). We are seeking a student or a graduate in the field of electrical engineering (or recognized equivalent) to join our R&D team for an internship. The internship, with expected duration of 6 months, can also have the purpose of developing a thesis.

How you'll make an impact

Support various R&D projects for power transformers design and design review tools improvements and/or for new emerging technologies and solutions. Your background Degree in electrical engineering (or recognized equivalent). Power transformer technology knowledge will be considered a plus. Knowledge of electrical finite element simulation is a plus Programming experience is considered a plus Solid computer skills including Microsoft Office & Outlook. Programming experience is considered a plus. Excellent problem-solving analytical skills, creativity, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic R&D environment Good spoken and written English.
