Copeland in Belluno, Italy, seeks a Quality Assurance Programmable Platform Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of programmable electronic controllers before production. This role spans software and hardware, defining test strategies, validating functionality, and supporting continuous improvement with Product Management and global teams.

You will design and execute testing, manage lab setups, contribute to CI/test automation, and provide advanced technical support for

Competenze

• Technical education in Electronics, Computer Science, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
• Understanding of software testing principles and quality assurance methodologies.
• Familiarity with automated testing tools such as Selenium or similar solutions.
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and technical documentation.
• Basic coding knowledge or experience with software development concepts.
• Knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, BACnet, MQTT, or similar.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Advanced English language skills (written and verbal).

• Contribute to the definition and review of product requirements and features with stakeholders.
• Define, document, and verify product use cases and functional requirements.
• Design, execute, and maintain functional testing activities for software and hardware components.
• Define and manage laboratory test setups for product validation and verification.

• Support automation and CI processes to increase test coverage.
