Copeland is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to join our Engineering team in Belluno, Italy. The role focuses on design, development and validation of software for embedded Linux environments, with emphasis on reliability, scalability and reusability.

The position involves collaborating with international engineering teams to deliver high‑quality embedded solutions and working on programmable controllers used in industrial applications.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of the C programming language and embedded software development principles.
• Experience developing software in Linux embedded environments.
• Knowledge of multithreaded programming and inter-process communication (IPC).
• Understanding of Linux kernel architecture and device drivers.
• Experience working with Git version control systems.
• Ability to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions and software designs.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts and secure software development practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Advanced English language skills (written and verbal).
