Job summary

Objectway is seeking a QA Leader in Milan to define how we test, automate, and embed quality across squads in a Scrum environment for web and mobile financial software.

You will own test strategy, build automation frameworks, and CI/CD gates, and mentor engineers to raise quality across the organization. Hybrid work in Milan is offered with permanent employment and a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software quality engineering, at least 2 in a senior or lead role.
• Experience in building automation frameworks from scratch.
• Hands-on experience with native mobile testing on iOS and/or Android (Appium, XCTest, Espresso).
• Experience or strong familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments and you understand where quality fits in the delivery cycle - not after it.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the overall test strategy across squads, coverage targets and regression approach.
• Design and evolve end-to-end test automation framework and CI/CD quality gates.
• Define testing strategy for native iOS/Android apps and device/OS coverage matrices.
• Act as quality authority across engineering, coach developers and QA engineers, and drive continuous improvement.
• Participate in release validation, defect management, root cause analysis and workflow improvements.
