Lever, Inc. is seeking a senior QA Chapter Lead based in Italy. The role blends hands-on engineering with QA strategy across engineering squads in a globally distributed, fintech-like environment.

You’ll shape automation tooling and testing practices while embedding within a squad to drive quality from design through delivery. As a senior contributor, you’ll define acceptance criteria, own the DoD quality gate, and lead a monthly QA Guild to harmonize standards across teams.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years in software QA with multi-team test strategy
• Strong automation engineering skills and production-grade test code
• Experience with API testing (REST, contracts) and CI environments

Aufgaben

• Embed as senior QA within one squad and participate in sprint ceremonies
• Define acceptance criteria with Product Owners before sprints
• Design, write, maintain, and improve automated tests (unit, integration, E2E)
• Own the squad’s Definition of Done and ensure quality gates before releases
• Define and maintain QA standards across engineering (test pyramid, tooling, naming, coverage)
• Establish onboarding processes and baseline QA expectations for engineers
• Lead a monthly QA Guild to align standards and tools across engineering
• Document QA automation frameworks and evaluate new tools
• Monitor QA chapter health (coverage, flaky tests, backlogs) and report risks
• Collaborate with leadership to address cross-team quality issues
• Promote proactive quality culture from development onwards
