Scalian is seeking a Python Developer to join our team in Napoli, focusing on AI and computer vision projects. You will work on developing AI-based solutions, analysing requirements, and contributing to edge and server deployments within our CIS/HMAX ecosystem.

You will handle datasets, train and retrain models, implement object detection and image processing algorithms, and ensure robust testing and integration.

Competenze

• Experience in Python and developing AI-based solutions.
• Strong background in computer vision and image recognition using OpenCV.
• Experience in managing and analysing datasets.
• Knowledge of YOLO and C/C++.
• Experience developing for electronic boards/embedded systems.
• Proactive, self-driven, and team-oriented.
• Fluent English is expected.

What will your role be?

We are looking for aPython Developerto perform the following activities:

• Analysis and definition of the functional and technical requirements of the solution
• Development of Computer Vision and Artificial Intelligence solutions for the automatic detection of pantograph anomalies and defects
• Preparation and analysis of datasets, including AI model training, retraining and tuning where required
• Development, testing and validation of object detection and image processing algorithms
• Integration of the solution within the CIS/HMAX architecture, both on Edge components and server-side
• Execution of testing, performance assessment and solution optimization
• Support for field testing and V&V activities in collaboration with technical teams and the Customer
• Management of code and Continuous Integration, automated testing and deployment activities

• Experience in Python and in developing AI-based solutions
• Experience in computer vision and image recognition, with particular reference to libraries such as OpenCV
• Experience in managing and analysing datasets
• Knowledge of YOLO
• Knowledge of C/C++
• Experience in developing for electronic boards / embedded systems
