Brightsmith in Rome is seeking an Electrical Engineer with hands-on experience designing solar PV plants and delivering grid connections. You will work across development, detailed design and construction, strengthening the project pipeline in Italy.

This hands-on role focuses on PV plant design, grid interconnectivity and collaborating with Development, Procurement and external consultants. A 3+ year background in renewables and proficiency with PV software are desired.

Competenze

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Energy Engineering.
3+ years of experience in electrical engineering within renewable energy.
Experience with PV design software and grid connection design.

Mansioni

Carry out preliminary and detailed design of solar PV plants, including layouts and electrical sizing.
Design and evaluate MV and HV grid connection solutions.
Assess grid connection configurations for self-consumption and feed-in projects.
Support early-stage development with yield analyses and grid connection studies.
Prepare electrical schematics, drawings, specifications and tender docs.
Review technical docs from external consultants and support procurement.
