AWS EMEA SARL Italy Branch is seeking a Public Sector Solution Architect to accelerate cloud adoption for government, education and nonprofit customers. The role will own technical engagements, define architectures, respond to RFIs and RFPs, and guide secure, scalable cloud solutions across networking, security and apps.

You will collaborate with partners and AWS teams to deliver measurable impact. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical breadth, government/education consulting

Competenze

• The right person will be highly technical and analytical, and have significant experience in software development, IT, networking, security and compliance.
• Advisory/consulting experience, including some experience with government and/or education customers.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills are a must, with ability to work across organisations and virtual teams.
• Italian and English fluency.
• Strong knowledge of application architecture, software development, server, networking, security.
• Technical degrees in computer science, software engineering, math or similar degrees.
• Understanding of government certifications and compliances.
• Experience working within the software development or Internet industries.

Mansioni

• Serve as a key member of the business development and account management team in helping ensure agency and institution success in building and migrating applications, software and services on the AWS platform.
• Engage systems integrators and support their technical implementation efforts.
• Collaborate with AWS Account Management teams to deliver maximum customer value.
• Assist in defining technical and business strategies enabling customers to sell more on AWS.
• Develop and deliver presentations, demos, sample solutions to drive awareness and adoption of AWS in the Public Sector.
• Gain industry recognition as a speaker at AWS and third-party events.
• Capture and share best-practice knowledge within the AWS solution architect community.
