Job summary

Avio Aero is seeking a Program Schedule Manager to lead the Propulsion System Programme Schedule Working Group within the Military NPI Organization. The role is deployed in the UK for 2–5 years, coordinating with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.

You will own the Avio Aero Gantt project scheduling, support leadership discussions, and ensure timely deliverables while complying with security requirements. Relocation to the UK is required and travel may be needed.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in aerospace or mechanical engineering.
• Solid experience in project management.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Project or equivalent planning tools.
• Good knowledge of the aerospace industry and defense environment.
• Excellent communication and urgency in highlighting issues.
• Solid risk management and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a cross-functional matrix organization.
• Proven interpersonal skills across all levels of internal/external stakeholders.
• Willingness to relocate to the UK and travel as needed.
• Italian citizenship and eligibility for security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Represent Avio Aero in the Propulsion System Programme Schedule Working Group.
• Coordinate with customers and partners on consortium matters.
• Share information reliably within the group.
• Support meetings with end users and prep of management materials.
• Report progress to Avio Aero management and escalate issues.
• Provide inputs to working groups in coordination with internal stakeholders.
• Own Propulsion System Integrated Schedule in collaboration with programme managers.
• Support other PMO activities and weekly/monthly rhythms (WOR/MOR).
