The Senior Underwriter will market Starr's Property offering to broker partners, evaluate submissions, and negotiate terms to grow a profitable portfolio for the Italian Branch Office.

The role requires 5+ years of Commercial Property underwriting, fluency in Italian and English, and strong analytical, communication, and relationship-building

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, Risk Management, Insurance, or related field.
• 5+ years underwriting Commercial Property with profitable portfolio.
• Fluent in Italian and English, written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities.
• Strong interpersonal and broker-networking skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills for risk exposures.
• Proficient in MS Office and underwriting platforms.

Aufgaben

• Drive marketing and development of Starr's Property with broker partners.
• Review renewal and new submissions and analyze risk exposures.
• Prepare quotations and bind risks within authority and guidelines.
• Develop local policy wordings, endorsements, and underwriting documentation repository.
• Enhance Starr's Property offering and identify market opportunities.
• Monitor underwriting performance and portfolio composition against objectives.
