Job summary

ANDRITZ is seeking a motivated Junior Project Manager to join our international project management team. The role supports planning, coordination, and execution of large-scale battery production plant projects.

You will collaborate across engineering, production and purchasing to meet technical specs and deadlines, define budgets, and monitor financial performance. Travel internationally and strong English are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in technical disciplines (Industrial, Mechanical or Electrical Eng).
• Some years of experience managing projects in global metalworking/engineering firms.
• Fluent English; willingness to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, coordination, and execution of large scale battery production projects.
• Monitor timelines, costs, quality, and track progress with corrective actions.
• Collaborate with engineering, production and purchasing to meet specs and deadlines.
• Prepare project budgets and monitor financial performance.
• Interface with customers, suppliers and internal teams; draft technical docs.
• Lead project progress meetings and document reporting.

We are looking for a motivated Junior Project Manager to join our international project management team. The ideal candidate will support the planning, coordination, and execution of large-scale projects related to battery production plants.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Project Manager Junior role in the field of international project management.
• Management of large-scale projects in the field of battery production plants.
• Planning and coordinating project-related activities, monitoring project timelines, costs, and quality; tracking project progress, identifying potential critical issues, and proposing corrective actions.
• Collaborating with the engineering/technical department, production, and purchasing to ensure compliance with technical specifications and deadlines; supporting the definition of project budgets and monitoring their financial performance.
• Cooperating with all internal departments and external suppliers, from the preliminary phase (pre-sales/ engineering) to final acceptance and delivery to the customer..
• Interfacing with customers, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure the smooth execution of activities.
• Managing project progress meetings and drafting the relevant technical documentation and reporting.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Knowledge in business management and management control.
• Confident handling of common IT tools and SAP.

EDUCATION & BACKGROUND

• Bachelor’s degree in technical disciplines (Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering).
• Few years of experience in managing projects within globally operating metalworking/engineering companies.

SALARY RANGE
