Sidel in Parma, Italy, offers a work-study/internship opportunity in project management. You will work alongside an experienced PM to support packaging equipment projects from intake to commissioning at customer sites, coordinating with multiple internal teams and external suppliers across Europe.

The role requires final-year engineering studies (mechanical/mechatronics), strong MS Office skills, and good English.

Your Mission

Working Alongside An Experienced Project Manager, You Will

• Support the management of projects related to the supply of new, customized packaging equipment, from order intake through to commissioning at the customer’s site;
• Coordinate activities with multiple internal stakeholders, including Engineering, Procurement, Logistics, Administration and external suppliers, ensuring effective communication and project alignment;
• Interact with customers across Italy and Europe, supporting project‑related communications and follow‑up activities;
• Assist in project planning, scheduling, documentation management and progress monitoring to ensure project milestones and deliverables are achieved;
• Contribute to the preparation of reports, project documentation and performance tracking activities;
• Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing project management processes, tools and best practices;
• Gain hands‑on experience in managing industrial projects within a dynamic and international environment, progressively developing autonomy and project management skills.

Your Profile

• You are currently completing the final year of an Engineering degree, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics;
• Industrial Engineering, General Engineering, Project Management or a related field, or an equivalent Master’s degree;
• You have a good command of Microsoft Office tools;
• You are comfortable working with technical topics and documentation;
• You have a good command of English; knowledge of an additional language would be an advantage;
• You have strong communication and interpersonal skills;
• You are proactive, organised and able to work independently;
• You are interested in industrial project management and in working in an international environment.
