Arcadis in Turbigo, Italy, is seeking a Project Management Intern to assist in planning, executing, and finalizing project management tasks. You will work closely with the Senior PM, coordinate the project team, manage customer relationships, and ensure quality throughout all project phases.

The ideal candidate should have a degree in Architecture, Building Engineering, or Civil Engineering. A strong command of English and Italian is necessary, alongside familiarity with project management tools like AutoCAD and Microsoft Project.

This position offers a salary range of €600 to €850 net monthly.

Role description

As a Project Management Intern, you will assist the (Senior) PM in planning, executing, and finalizing the management work of projects in accordance with the agreed deadlines. In addition, you will help coordinate the project team, manage relationships with customers and suppliers, and engage with all stakeholders. Once the individual objectives of the project have been defined, your duties will also include verifying at every stage that the activities assigned to the team are carried out and maintaining an eye on the quality of the work performed.

Role accountabilities

• Support one or more projects, ensuring correct execution according to the defined contractual methods.
• Track projects and development plans, working with the project team.
• Maintain active communication within and outside the organization.
• Participate in and conduct periodic meetings to verify alignment with progress predictions.
• Draw up summary reports of weekly and monthly meetings, monitor progress of activities, and create or modify schedules and budgets.

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in Architecture, Building Engineering, or Civil Engineering.
• Previous experience in Project Management or Design Coordination in the hospitality sector; on‑site experience considered a strong plus.
• Excellent level of English (B2/C1) and Italian (B2); additional languages considered a plus.
• Technical background to attend and intervene in technical meetings.
• Coordination and time‑management skills, ability to plan and direct coordination meetings.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Project.
• Availability to travel.
