Job summary

Alpitronic in Bolzano, Italy seeks a Senior Value Management Specialist to coordinate cost-reduction initiatives across R&D, Purchasing, Industrial Engineering, Production, Quality and Product Management. You will drive initiatives through structured project management and lead the end-to-end deployment of the Valuemize platform with internal and external stakeholders.

The role requires PM experience, knowledge of VE/VA, cost analysis, and familiarity with Jira or MS Project.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial or Management Engineering or a related technical field.
• Project Management certification is preferred.
• Experience in managing complex projects and cross-functional programs.
• Experience in cost reduction, value engineering, product cost optimization, or continuous improvement programs.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate cost reduction initiatives across R&D, Purchasing, Industrial Engineering, Production, Quality, and Product Management
• Drive execution of approved initiatives through structured project management practices
• Lead the end-to-end implementation of the Valuemize platform within the organization; coordinate internal and external stakeholders involved in the implementation project
• Define governance, roles, responsibilities, and workflows associated with the use of the tool
• Prepare executive reports and management presentations on program status and results
• Establish standard operating procedures and best practices for value management activities

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial or Management Engineering or a related technical field
• Project Management certification is preferred
• Previous years of professional experience managing complex projects and programs, managing cross-functional projects and transformation initiatives
• Experience in cost reduction, value engineering, product cost optimization, or continuous improvement programs
• Experience implementing business processes, digital tools, or enterprise software solutions is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies; practical experience with project management tools such as Jira, MS Project or equivalent platforms
• Understanding of product cost structures, business cases, and financial analysis; familiarity with Value Engineering (VE) and Value Analysis (VA) methodologies
• Fluency in English, Italian and/or German as an advantage
