Job summary

Vodafone Automotive seeks an experienced Project Manager to guide and support customer and product projects through their lifecycle. You will lead complex, multi-company initiatives, coordinating across regions to meet milestones, budget, and quality expectations.

The role requires strong governance, stakeholder management and the ability to manage end-to-end delivery while ensuring customer value and profitability. English fluency is essential and hybrid working is offered.

Role purpose:

Responsibility to guide, manage and support product and customer projects through their lifecycle, providing a consistent key point of contact both internally and externally. To lead and take ownership of Internal or external projects, or lead a workstream on large complex projects, in such a way that each underlying project or workstream is accomplished to the complete satisfaction of the sponsor, on schedule, quality assured and within budget. Drives cross functional collaboration and competitive analysis, building strong global stakeholder relationships to maximize market impact, profitability, and customer experience. Operates to manage budgets, deliverables, milestones and timescales for the project to ensure all contractual obligations are met & project benefits are measured. Ensures that the governance arrangements are robust and that reporting lines and communication links are sound. Accountable for developing and maintaining relationships with the key stakeholders, third parties and other external bodies to ensure a positive outcome and be overall responsible for the performance of the project team.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership:

• Oversee the full project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with business priorities and maximizing quality and profitability.
• Supporting and ensuring solution execution is aligned with portfolio priorities, customer value propositions, and market requirements, supporting long-term profitability goals.
• Cross-Market Coordination & Customer/Supplier Relationships: Collaborate with regional teams to align strategies, share best practices, and support global product launches.
• Solution Design and Delivery: Act as key contact for new features and bids, providing guidance to Sales, Product Leads, and Bid Teams on solution feasibility, risks, and delivery requirements.
• Support the creation of Statements of Work and ensure scalable, competitive, and risk controlled bids.
• Implementation & Control: Lead end-to-end project delivery as the primary point of contact and escalation.
• Coordinate activities, priorities customer requirements, and execute governance through operational and strategic reviews.
• Ensure structured reporting of progress, financials, risks, actions, issues, dependencies, and changes.
• Project Closure, Handover & Review: Ensure smooth handover to Operations, support performance during ramp up, conduct Lessons Learned, and coordinate stakeholder communication.
• Risk, Actions, Issues & Dependencies: Identify, document, and mitigate risks, leading cross-functional actions and ensuring timely escalation.
• General, Support and Administration: Ensure high quality documentation, accurate system records, customer satisfaction surveys, and adherence to Vodafone Automotive project management standards.

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

• Experience in automotive/industrial solutions with focus on connectivity and services, with knowledge of main industry standards (Waterfall, Agile, APQP).
• Leadership & Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to lead and influence cross functional, multicultural teams—both in person and remotely—often spanning multiple organizations.
• Project & Delivery: Successful track record managing large, complex, multi company projects, coordinating multiple stakeholder groups across geographies.
• Ability to manage end to end delivery governance, ensuring alignment on milestones, risks, and dependencies while keeping customer requirements at the center.
• Communication, Negotiation & Relationship BuildingFluent in English
