Job summary

Alstom in Bologna is seeking a Sig Project Installation Manager to oversee Site Works and coordinate all installation activities, including resources, access, and interfaces with signaling equipment. You will manage installation work packages and supervise subcontractors to ensure timely delivery and quality.

You will drive safety, compliance with DIS Installation and FO processes, and continuous performance improvements with the Installation Engineering team and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee site activities, facilities, resources planning, and site access.
• Manage the Work Package of Installation.
• Lead Installation Works for M&U Signaling equipment and related performance, including planning, risks, opportunities, best practices, non-conformities, technical interfaces.
• Coordinate Sub-contractors with site visits, coordination meetings, inspections, and assessments.
• Manage interfaces with Third Parties such as facilities providers and Civil Work partners.
• Coordinate the Installation Engineering team for the defined scope.
• Ensure DIS Installation and FO Process are followed for Installation activities.
• Drive continuous Installation performance improvement within the Project.
• Contribute to best practices and RELEX within the Product Line.
• Participate in Process/Metier improvement workgroups and update Installation practices, processes, tools and RefLib.
• Ensure compliance to EHS through site inspections and personnel assessments.

In the frame of the Traiborne Onboard businnes in Italy, in compliance to EHS (Zero Deviation) and Regulatory standards, the Sig Project Installation Manager oversees operational coordination of all project activities related to Site Works, including:

• Manage organize and supervise site activities, including sites facilities, resources plan, site access, tools
• Manage the Work Package of Installation
• Manage the Installation Works for M&U Signaling equipment and related performance, including monitoring and leading actions on planning, risks, opportunities, best practices, non-conformities, technical interfaces
• Manage Sub-contractors, including monitoring of quality and delivery through site visits, coordination meetings, inspections, and assessments
• Manage the interfaces with Third Parties such as facilities providers, Civil Work partners, etc...
• Coordinate the Installation Engineering team for the scope assigned
• Ensure application of DIS Installation and FO Process for Installation activities
• Ensure continuous Installation performance improvement within the Project
• Contribute to best practices definition and REX within the Product Line
• Participate to Process / “Metier” improvement workgroup when requested, propose update/improvement of the Installation and T&C way of working, process, tools and RefLib
• Ensure compliance to EHS (Zero deviation) through, site inspections, people assessment etc...

• Work-package management QCDP (quality, cost, delivery and performance)
• Savings through Risk mitigation and Opportunities management, Cash by sales milestones achievement
• Quality, EHS, RSA (Railway Safety Agencies): monitoring, anticipation and reporting on progress and issues
