Job summary

Prysmian is seeking a Project HSE Manager to join our Milano office. The role ensures safety, health, and environmental performance across projects, identifying risks and implementing preventive measures to protect people and minimize environmental impact.

You will lead HSE activities, drive continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and Prysmian policies. Fluency in English and Italian, plus strong leadership, communication, and audit skills, are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in HSE management for onshore/offshore projects is required.
• Knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 and lead auditor Certification.
• Experience with incident investigations (TapRoot/Kelvin Top Set preferred).
• Understanding of Italian and UK HSE legislation is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to perform risk assessments and apply ISO31000 methods.
• Teamwork, proactive mindset, and results orientation.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, coordinate, and supervise all HSE activities within projects.
• Support company-wide HSE initiatives including training, KPI monitoring and improvements.
• Lead and influence project teams, suppliers, and subcontractors to promote safety.
• Define and implement project HSE management strategy across lifecycle.
• Coordinate with manufacturing HSE teams to align with policies.
• Conduct HSE audits during prequalification, tendering, and execution.
• Lead investigations and develop corrective actions to improve performance.
