Job summary

ABB Distribution Solutions is seeking a Project Engineer to translate customer orders for medium voltage switchgear into drawings and BOMs, ensuring alignment with specifications and safety guidelines. You will engage with customers and vendors, support project managers, and drive timely project execution onsite in Lombardy.

The ideal candidate holds a electrical-related degree, has 2+ years of project engineering experience, and is proficient in SAP, EPlan, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electromechanical, or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience as a project engineer in electrical distribution with medium voltage switchgear.
• Proficient in SAP, EPlan, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office tools.
• Intermediate English skills and a strong commitment to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical reviews and discussions with customers, partners, subcontractors and vendors.
• Support project managers with claims, customer specifications and safety standards.
• Maintain and enhance customer satisfaction by delivering excellent service at all project stages.
• Assist in selecting appropriate electrical equipment and resolving technical issues.
