Jobtailor in Italy is seeking a senior program manager to oversee highly complex IT programs. You will coordinate multiple projects, map interdependencies, and align stakeholders across the organization to ensure success.

The role requires strong experience with governance, risk management, and cost control, plus effective communication with executive leadership. A background in BI reporting and data analytics will support performance monitoring and decision making.

Competenze

• 10+ years of experience managing large, complex IT projects or programs.
• Fluent in Italian and English.
• Comfortable engaging at the C-suite level.
• Experience with portfolio management at scale.
• Expertise in cost & scope management, change control, and governance.
• Knowledge of business intelligence, data analysis, dashboards, and operational reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of a program characterized with high levels of complexity, uncertainty, and ambiguity
• Understand the interdependencies, interactions, and dynamics of the projects and stakeholders within the program
• Manage risk and uncertainty by identifying, assessing, and mitigating factors affecting the program's performance and outcomes
• Define and drive program governance to monitor and evaluate program performance
• Manage the expectations and needs of varying levels of stakeholder personas through an effective communication strategy

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience of successfully managing large, complex IT projects or programs
• Fluent in Italian and English language
• Comfortable and proven engaging at the C‑suite
• Comfortable with the dynamics of portfolio management at scale
• Expertise in cost & scope management, change control, and overall project governance
• Knowledge of business intelligence, data analysis, dashboards, business intelligence reporting, business metrics, and operational reporting
