LHH is supporting a well-established manufacturing company in search of a Production & Quality Control Manager based in Italy. The role oversees production, quality, and procurement, driving operational efficiency, product quality, and customer service excellence across the end-to-end value chain.

You will lead a multi-disciplinary team in a highly customized environment, coordinating with engineering, planning, and procurement to optimize capacity and material availability while aligning with

Competenze

• Requires a degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Management Engineering or equivalent.
• Proven leadership experience in manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices.
• Experience coordinating Production, Quality and Supply Chain functions.
• Fluent English required due to international stakeholders and Group functions.

Mansioni

• Coordinate and supervise production, assembly, mechanical machining and quality control activities.
• Lead and develop a direct reporting team (Quality Specialist; Production Planning Manager; Workshop Supervisor; Purchasing Manager).
• Ensure KPIs related to productivity, quality, on-time delivery and service performance are met.
• Oversee planning and procurement to balance material availability, capacity and business needs.
• Collaborate with technical and commercial teams on customer projects and requirements.
• Manage the Quality Management System and drive preventive/corrective actions for performance and customer satisfaction.
• Identify issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and boost efficiency.
• Support digital tools and systems related to manufacturing and supply chain management.
• Interface with Group stakeholders in an international business environment.
