LHH Recruitment Solutions is supporting a well-established manufacturing company to recruit a Production & Quality Control Manager in Italy. The role oversees production, quality, and procurement, driving continuous improvement and operational excellence across the value chain.

The ideal candidate will lead a multidisciplinary team, ensure KPIs are met, and collaborate with cross-functional groups and international stakeholders. A strong Lean/ERP/MES background and fluent English are essential.

Competenze

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Management Engineering, or equivalent technical background.
• Proven leadership experience in manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical manufacturing processes, esp. customized/engineer-to-order.
• Experience coordinating Production, Quality and Supply Chain functions.
• Solid understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles; Six Sigma, SMED, 5S are a plus.
• Experience with ERP, MES, and advanced production planning systems (Opera MES, CyberPlan, Mago ERP preferred).
• Fluent English is mandatory for international stakeholder interactions.

Mansioni

• Coordinate and supervise production, assembly, machining, and quality control activities.
• Lead and develop a direct reporting team (Quality Specialist, Production Planning Manager, Workshop Supervisor, Purchasing Manager).
• Ensure KPIs for productivity, quality, on-time delivery and service performance.
• Oversee planning and procurement to balance material availability, capacity, and business needs.
• Collaborate with technical and commercial teams on client projects and requirements.
• Oversee Quality Management System and drive preventive/corrective actions.
