MUSC Health Florence Medical Center is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician/Medical Technologist (PRN) to join a leading regional acute care facility in Florence, SC. The role involves performing a variety of diagnostic lab tests, preparing specimens, operating automated analyzers and maintaining quality control.

Experience is preferred, but new grads are welcome, with ASCP/AMT/NCA/HEW certification encouraged.

Competenze

• Graduate of an NAACLS accredited program for Medical Laboratory Scientist/MLT.
• ASCP, AMT, NCA, or HEW certification preferred.
• One to two years' experience in an accredited laboratory preferred, but new grads welcome.

Mansioni

• Perform routine and specialized diagnostic lab tests per protocols.
• Prepare specimens for microscopic examination and testing.
• Operate automated lab instrumentation and equipment.
• Perform quality control and assurance procedures.
• Record lab results in the designated system and maintain HIPAA compliance.
