MUSC Health Florence Medical Center is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join our Laboratory team. This full-time position runs 9:30 PM to 8:00 AM, with 40 hours per week at our facility in Florence, SC.

The ideal candidate graduate from an NAACLS-approved MLT program and will obtain ASCP/AMT/NCA/HEW certification within 1 year. Experience of 1–2 years in an accredited lab is preferred, though new graduates are welcome.

Competenze

• Graduate of an accredited/NAACLS approved program for Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT).
• Certification within 1 year (ASCP, AMT, NCA, or HEW).
• 1–2 years' experience in an accredited lab preferred; new grads considered.

Mansioni

• Perform routine and specialized diagnostic lab tests per protocols.
• Prepare specimens for microscopic examination or testing procedures.
• Operate automated lab instrumentation and equipment.
• Perform quality control and quality assurance procedures.
• Record lab results in the specified system and maintain HIPAA compliance.
