The Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist to support both invasive and noninvasive cardiovascular procedures in a fast-paced setting in Florence, SC. The role requires adherence to departmental standards and collaboration with the care team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Education includes radiologic sciences prerequisites and CVIS/ARRT certifications, plus current BLS. Prior cath lab or cardiovascular certifications are preferred for this position.

Competenze

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiological Sciences, RT or CVIS.
• Previous experience preferred.
• Critical Care Experience required.
• ARRT, CVIS, CRT, RRT licenses.
• Current BLS certification.
• Cath lab or Cardiovascular certification preferred.

Mansioni

• Assist with invasive and noninvasive cardiovascular procedures per standards.
• Support the cardiologist while following department protocols.
• Collaborate with care teams to ensure effective patient care delivery.
• Perform related duties incidental to the work described.

Job Description

The Cath lab technologist is a professional caregiver who specializes and performs/assists with invasive and noninvasive cardiovascular procedures. Responsible for assisting the cardiologist in while adhering to departmental standards and protocols. Collaborates with other professionals in and out of the Hospital to ensure effective, efficient patient care delivery and achievement of desired outcomes. Performs other related duties incidental to the work described within.

Additional Job Description

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiological Sciences, RT or CVIS

Experience :

• Previous experience preferred
• Critical Care Experience required

Licenses/Certificates:

• ARRT, CVIS , CRT , RRT
• Current BLS certification
• Cath lab or Cardiovascular specialty certification preferred
