Westinghouse Electric Italy SpA in Monfalcone, IT, is seeking an APX Principal, Project Sourcing & Procurement to manage equipment procurement for a manufacturing site and support AP1000 New Plant Projects within the APX Supply Chain. Hybrid work involves 2 days in the office weekly.

Responsibilities include PO negotiation, overseeing procurement from pre-PO through PO execution, and collaborating with project management and engineering teams.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree and Supply Chain Experience.
• 10+ years of relevant procurement experience in complex projects.
• At least 5 years in a leadership role.
• In-depth manufacturing, financial, and economic understanding of APX Supply Chain Products.
• Ability to travel up to 15% within EMEA.
• Fluent in Italian and C1 proficiency in English.

Mansioni

• Negotiate, place and administer purchase orders with suppliers.
• Lead decision-making and strategy implementation for procurement of components and equipment.
• Lead supplier relationship management reviews with necessary and strategic suppliers, engaging teams and senior leadership.
• Develop relationships with suppliers and internal partners to maintain sources of supply and resolve issues.
• Identify cost improvements of purchased materials and services.
• Coordinate, maintain and expedite material deliveries to support manufacturing schedules.
• Interface between project teams, including project management and engineering and the supply chain organization.
