Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Italy SpA is seeking an AP1000 Senior Supplier Performance Engineer to lead manufacturing readiness and supplier capability assessments for critical mechanical components of a nuclear reactor design.

You will ensure manufacturing feasibility, mitigate risks, and drive supplier performance in collaboration with engineering, supply chain and supplier quality teams on-site in Chieti with some travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• 5+ years in heavy fabrication including welding and machining.
• Experience with large steel components in regulated industries.
• Lead supplier engagements and project management experience.
• Knowledge of nondestructive testing methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier oversight activities and ensure compliance with requirements.
• Develop and execute Supplier Oversight Plans for submissions and surveillance.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to drive performance and resolve issues.
• Perform supplier capability assessments on processes, risk and capacity.
• Drive development and qualification initiatives including CAPA.
