Job summary

Westinghouse is seeking an experienced procurement leader to drive energy systems sourcing within the APX Global Supply Chain Solution team. You will coordinate with business, engineering, quality and sales teams across Europe, emphasizing regulatory compliance and risk reduction.

The role is 100% remote with travel to supplier sites in Europe up to 10–20%; a nuclear or mechanical background and English proficiency are preferred.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required.
• 10+ years of global procurement or global supplier project management experience.
• Experience working with multinational teams.
• Nuclear or mechanical professional background.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement activities for energy systems within the APX Global Supply Chain Solution team.
• Develop sourcing plans to reduce risk and generate savings.
• Monitor projects and remove roadblocks.
• Develop strategies to maximize supplier base cost/value.
• Manage supplier relationships and performance.
• Collaborate with business, engineering, quality and sales teams.
• Ensure regulatory and procurement policy compliance.
• Manage post-purchase commitments including contract management; resolve invoice-purchase order discrepancies.

In this role you will lead procurement activities for energy systems within the APX Global Supply Chain Solution team, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and quality-compliant delivery. You will monitor projects, remove roadblocks, and develop sourcing plans to reduce risk and generate savings. You’ll serve as the primary interface with business, engineering, quality, and sales teams, including external customers, while keeping a focus on regulatory and procurement policy compliance. This is a 100% remote position with travel to supplier sites in Europe possible.

• Identify demand, potential suppliers, and establish supplier communication channels
• Analyze cost elements for commodity groups to identify cost improvements
• Develop strategies to maximize supplier base cost/value
• Cultivate and manage supplier relationships while addressing performance issues
• Understand supplier capacity, capabilities, and manufacturing processes in collaboration with the Supplier Performance Excellence Organization
