IIT invites applications for a Postdoc position in Milano to develop a flexible X-ray imager for AgriTech applications. The project focuses on a printed, lightweight prototype integrated with a TFT backplane, under a 12-month collaboration.

You will join a multidisciplinary team and contribute to design, encapsulation, stability testing under harsh conditions, and full characterization of the imager. Fluency in English is required.

Competenze

• PhD in Physics, Electronic Engineering, Materials Science or similar.
• Experience in characterization of X-ray detectors and knowledge of imaging quality metrics.
• Knowledge of X-ray image formation principles and pitfalls.
• Experience in characterization of photodetectors/photoconductors and X-ray sensitivity.

Mansioni

• Develop a first X-ray imager prototype based on printed perovskites detectors and a TFT backplane.
• Encapsulate the X-ray imager and conduct stability tests under harsh conditions (humidity, X-ray exposure, high temperature).
• Fully characterize the imager.
