IIT invites applications for a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Local Cell Depots for Advanced Combination Therapies in Genoa, Italy. The successful candidate will work in a multidisciplinary group under Prof.

Paolo Decuzzi, focusing on biodegradable implantable depots for local delivery of immunomodulatory agents, biologics, and engineered cells. The project emphasizes cell viability, retention, and controlled activity in diseased tissues, with applications in oncology and inflammatory diseases.

Competenze

• PhD required in a related discipline.
• Experience in designing and realizing local cell depots or related delivery systems.
• Experience with mammalian cell culture and immune cell handling.
• Ability to design and conduct in vitro and in vivo experiments.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.
