The Bio-logic Research unit is coordinated by Prof. Paolo Netti. The research focuses on the quantitative investigation of functional communication within interconnected neural in vitro systems, with particular emphasis on the analysis of electrophysiological signals and network dynamics. The activity will contribute to the characterization of how neuronal activity propagates across interconnected neurospheroids and how functional connectivity is established and altered under physiological and disease-relevant conditions.
