IRCCS San Raffaele Scientific Institute in Milan, Italy, seeks a Research Assistant for the SR-Tiget Immune Core. Join a dynamic team investigating immunological aspects of gene and cell therapies for genetic diseases. Role covers T/B cell assays, flow cytometry, mouse work, and assay development in an international setting.

The position requires a biomedical degree or PhD, strong lab experience, and excellence in English. One-year contract with opportunities for renewal, based on performance.

Competenze

• Biomedical degree or PhD with strong lab experience.
• Experience in T cell functional immune assays is required.
• Experience in B cell functional immune assays is a plus.
• Experience in animal handling is desirable.
• Good oral and written English skills are essential.

Mansioni

• Perform assays to investigate antigen-specific cellular responses (primary cells from disease models).
• Establish antigen-specific T cell lines.
• Differentiate dendritic cells and use for antigen presentation in vitro and in vivo.
• LV mediated modification of DC, B and T cells for experiments.
• Quantify cytokines via multiplex assay (Luminex).
• Determine antibody titers by ELISA.
• Perform basic molecular biology (PCR, cloning, western blots).
• Operate and analyze flow cytometry (FACS sorting).
• Develop and optimize new assays.
• Conduct mouse work (handling, in vivo treatments).
• Train new lab members.
