Trinseo seeks a skilled Process Engineer to drive development of new processes and continuous improvement of existing ones. You will write specifications, size equipment, and collaborate with R&D and cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.

The role covers PFD/P&ID creation, safety analyses, and training of future users. Strong English and Italian required; base salary discussed during recruitment.

Competenze

• Bachelor's or Master's in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in process engineering in industrial settings.
• Knowledge of process design, equipment sizing, and safety analyses.
• Familiarity with PFDs, P&IDs, and process descriptions.
• HAZOP experience and relief device design preferred.
• Fluent in English and Italian.

Mansioni

• Develop new processes and improve existing ones; write study specifications.
• Produce material and utility balances for unit operations and cost basis.
• Size equipment and installations with cross-functional support.
• Validate new processes with R&D; assess feasibility.
• Create PFD and P&ID diagrams and operating manuals.
• Perform safety analyses and contribute to HAZOP reviews.
• Train users on installed equipment and pilot trials.
• Support project investments and optimize costs.
• Ensure startup and production capacity targets are met.
